Let's just make this brief.
Although it's just has been a month for me in running a business, and although it's just a simple small business, it has given me so much to learn.
1. I have learned to understand the various characters of people. It has made me learn, that we can't please everyone. I couldn't make all people love my products. Everyone has their own taste, we can't force them. Everyone also has different desire of service, some of them want A type of service, and the others want B type. I realized that I can't have all of kind of services that people want. I also have learned to understand my own partner :) Although we've been friends for around 6 years and we are very close, sometimes, still we have different way of thinking. No matter how close we are, still, we are different persons. I realize now that things like arguments and conflicts somehow can't be avoided. But, although sometimes me and my partner find our differences, but our aim still the same. WE WANT THIS BUSINESS TO BE SUCCEEDED!! That's the most important thing, same aim :D
2. I have learned to manage my money right. I've said that my business is not that wow, and so is the money. You can say that "Ah, the money must be not that much blabla" but to manage the money, no matter it's big or small amount, however it's not a simple job. You can never mix your own money and your "company's" money.
3. I have learn that everything has to be written to make it remember and organized. Yes, EVERY SINGLE THING. I had experienced situation when I just rely to my partner in charge of notes. I trusted everything on her to be written. But in the end, I was screwed, confused. I still remember everything but not that detailed. You know what, don't ever underestimate the detail. The detail is the devil. So, I decided to make my own note, although it's just a simple note :) That's what makes note important, yes, to remember and organize everything including the details.
4. I have learned to make strategy. In business, strategy is everything. Everything has to be planned properly with the strategy. I believe that business is how to expend less and earn more. Less is more. Hehe :D
5. And finally.... Business teaches me to never give up :) Opportunnity is eeeeeverywhere and eeeeverytime. When you fail in here, try there. When you fail in A, try B. Fail B, try C. If Howard Schultz given up after fail hundred times, we wouldn't have heard Starbucks Coffee now :D
I am sured that there are still so maaaany many things I will get in business. It's exciting, challenging, and everyone can do it if they have passion in it :D
And the most important thing is starting a business is: don't be afraid ;)
